15th Convocation of Defence Authority College & School System (DHACSS) College for Women

The 15th Convocation of Defence Authority College & School System (DHACSS) College for Women was held at the College Auditorium. Vice Chancellor Karachi University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan, presided over the convocation ceremony and conferred degrees on the graduating students.

As many as 141 graduates of the session 2016 and 2017 were awarded B.A, B.Sc and B.Com degrees whereas 15 master’s degrees were also conferred on the students. 9 students of the college were awarded degrees in MA (Economics), 6 students in MA (English), 44 students were given B.Com degrees, 26 students BSc Degree and 58 students were given BA degrees. Administrator DHA Brig Ibrar Hussain Bhatti gave 17 position holders medals and cash prizes.

The Vice Chancellor extended his heartiest felicitations to the graduating students on the memorable occasion which marked the culmination of their efforts and the unending support of the parents in securing the futures of their children.

He advised the graduates to continue their educational and intellectual pursuits to excel in their careers with distinction. He said that the best investment of a country was to invest in youth and science and technology.

Earlier, Principal Dr Farhat Agha in her annual report highlighted the academic and co-curricular achievements of the College. She said that the College imparted wholesome education to young women in an intellectually vibrant learning environment to nurture their intellectual and physical talents for excelling in various fields of practical life. Director Education DHA Brig (R) Reza Hasan was also present on the occasion.
