56th National Amateur Golf Championship held at Defence Authority Country and Golf Club


56th National Amateur Golf Championship being held under the aegis of Pakistan Golf Federation at the lush green 36 holes course of Defence Authority Country and Golf Club (DAC&GC) has assumed immense significance this year due to participation of foreign teams giving the tournament an international stature. Pakistan’s top amateur golfers will be joined by leading players from Bangladesh and Srilanka in the tournament which tees off at the picturesque course of DHA Golf Club from 6th June, 2017.

The four day championship which features amateurs, ladies and seniors is expected to produce some enthralling contests in challenging weather conditions at the windswept DAC&GC course. All arrangements are intact to make the championship a resounding success.

It is significant that Pakistan Golf Federation has brought the National Amateur Championship for the first time to the metropolitan city of Karachi. In this context Defence Authority Country and Golf Club shares the unique and singular honour of being selected as an ideal venue for the prestigious championship. DHA Golf Club is determined to leave no stone unturned in its efforts to make the international championship a big success.
