Annual Day Function 2012 at DA Public School (O&A Levels) SeaviewThe Annual Day Function of Defence Authority Public School (O&A Levels) Seaview was held on 03 February, 2012. The celebrated showbiz artist and CEO NAPA, Mr Zia Mohyeddin was the chief guest of the ceremony. The students on the occasion presented an immaculately organized concert and talent show in the form of tableaus, songs and Urdu and English plays.

Speaking on the occasion, Zia Mohyeddin said that education was the essence of life that brought refinement and enlightenment in society. He emphasized that education should be balanced, wholesome and encompassing to prepare confident, capable and dynamic personalities who could face the challenges of life successfully. He congratulated the students and staff of the school for presenting a memorable variety programme and commended the punctuality observed and flawless presentation of the programme.

Annual Day Function 2012 at DA Public School (O&A Levels) SeaviewTiny Toddlers of the Pre-Primary Campus displayed a stunning and captivating show which took the audience to the imaginary fairy land and reminded them of fairy tales. The tableau “Value of Time” was a beautiful presentation, manifesting the significance of value of time in the formative years of children’s life. “The Blooming Spring” highlighted the importance of plants for a clean and refreshing environment for all living beings.

The students through an English play, “The Adventure of Tom Sawyer” portrayed the significance of physical outdoor activity for boys in their growing age. The most hilarious play was “Darbar-e-Akbar” that probed a true reflecting of today’s corrupt society and was highly appreciated by the audience. The young and talented choir of the School presented melodious and beautiful songs in Urdu and English during the programme.

Annual Day Function 2012 at DA Public School (O&A Levels) SeaviewEarlier the Principal, Mrs Rukhshanda Jabeen, in her annual report said that the main focus of studies in the School was towards developing a spirit of inquiry and curiosity in students. She said that the institution provided healthy, congenial and vibrant reading and learning environment to nurture young, fresh and receptive minds.

In the end the Chief Guest distributed prizes among the students and teachers who excelled in various fields of activities. Director Education DHA, Commodore Talib Hussain (R) was also present on the occasion.

    it was a great pleasure being a part of this school today when i look back at these pictures i remeber that one day we were the part of this function we were there doing our best to entertain our guests
