Annual Day Function of DHACSS Beachview Campus


The Annual Day Function of DHACSS Beachview Campus was held at the Auditorium of DHACSS Degree College with great fanfare. Prof. Dr Saeed Uddin, Chairman Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) was the chief guest of the function.

The chief guest commended the excellent presentation of the students which he said was reassuring. He said that DHA Schools were unique in maintaining high academic standards as well as having spacious and qualitative educational infrastructure so essential for development of students’ personality. Chairman BSEK added that a sound education imparted to students in their formative years helps in developing a versatile, vibrant and strong nation.

The students presented a fabulous variety programme showcasing their immense artistic talent. The variety programme was spectacular and included inspirational songs, tableaus and small skits in English and Urdu. A classical English play ‘Anna and the King of Siam’ based on a famous novel of 1944 was innovatively and masterly presented by students to project the inspiring and enlightening role of teacher in society.

Time Machine was a medley dance performance based on assortment of songs from 1950s till 2000 which was a superb and exhilarating presentation. The Urdu play depicted the communication gap between teachers, parents and students due to increased usage of mobiles in a hilarious and interesting manner.

Principal Ms Saima Afzal presented the Annual Report of the school and highlighted the achievements of students in various academic and co-curricular activities. She said that the School provided intellectually stimulating and educationally vibrant learning environment to students that helps in developing their wholesome and confident personality so that they can excel in all fields of life.

At the end the chief guest distributed prizes among the students who excelled in various curricular and co-curricular activities. Prizes were also given to teachers and staff who showed extra ordinary performance and produced excellent results in their subjects.
