Defence is one of the posh areas of Karachi and is first choice for many house seekers. There are many reasons for this priority of Defence like law and order situation, the development work going in the area, newly built roads also an attraction for the residents. Besides these factors there is one very important factor is the development of commercial areas and the availability of all kind outlets in that area. Bukhari Commercial is one of the best upcoming commercials in DHA Karachi.
Bukhari commercial is centrally located in Phase VI (Map), comprising on around 50 Acres. It is in-between 16th Street to Khayaban-e-Shujaat and vertically from J Street to Khayaban-e-Ittehad. Khayaban-e-Bukhari and Khayaban-e-Muslim also pass through this commercial area. It has around 650 plots of 200 square yards. Few has been divided into two to become 100 square yards plots.

The allowed construction on these plots are G+4 (Ground + 4). On ground floor shops and showrooms use for retails outlets and on upper floors many buildings have apartments of 2 and 3 bedrooms. And some buildings have offices on upper floors. Many companies use whole building as their Defence branch.
Bukhari Commercial Area is rapidly developing into an upscale construction, home and interiors market. Several architectural and interior decor firms, furniture, fixtures and lighting showrooms have opened there recently. Some prominent businesses include Baroque Inc, Design Loft 37, Eikon, Interwood, La Maison Home Accessories and Stonends.
There are plenty of other businesses located there as well; in addition to a plethora of banks and grocery stores, Bokhari Commercial Area is home to several high end clothing boutiques, spas and salons; N’eco’s Natural Café & Store and Blue Ribbon Bakery are also located there. As Bokhari Commercial Area is relatively new and not completely developed, there is plenty of Parking Space available, making this area more attractive.

- Mostly plots are of 200 square yards few of 100 square yards as well.

This price variation is based on the location of plots. The road size is 40 or 60 feet wide. Some are through roads. Some plots are corner. The most premium price plots are on Khayaban-e-Bukhari, Khayaban-e-Ittehad and Khayaban-e-Shujaat.
- The shop sizes are mostly 300 to 500 sqft. and few may some smaller or big sizes.
- PKR 7,500/= to 25,000/= per sqft.
- The office sizes are 400 / 1000 / 2000 sqft.
