A meeting of Secretaries of Defence Authority Clubs presided by Administrator DHA, Brig Aamer Raza Qureshi was held at Defence Authority Sunset Club to chalk out a pragmatic strategy for providing better and comprehensive facilities to club members.
Brig Aamer Raza said that DHA was committed to provide healthy recreational, sports and entertainment facilities to residents essential for a dynamic and healthy society.
He stressed on the need of developing enviable and conducive environment in Clubs to make it a venue of real family entertainment. He also underlined the need for developing a sense of belonging and cohesion in club members by ensuring their active participation in various activities.
He said that Defence Authority Clubs were well known for maintaining exclusive disciplined, organized and exotic culture which should be maintained at all costs. He asked Club Secretaries to leave no stone unturned in providing high quality amenities, courteous services and multifarious facilities in clubs.
The meeting approved modalities and procedures for selection of Clubs’ Executive Committee Members and also decided that dependant parents of club members would be given special household club membership. The Administrator asked the Chief Engineer DHA to study the feasibility of installing Reverse Osmosis Plants and water filters in clubs to overcome the occasional shortage of water.
The Administrator in his concluding remarks said that Defence Authority Clubs were well known for their exclusive standards and were also institutions of personal grooming and personality development as embodiment of exquisite life style. He stressed on the need of ensuring constant maintenance and update of Club’s infrastructure and facilities to maintain the high standards and versatility of the facility.
