Defence Authority Model High School Phase-IV Student Wins Pakistan Post Letter Writing Competition

Defence Authority Model High School Phase-IV is the oldest and renowned educational institution of DHA. The school provides intellectually stimulating and academically vibrant educational environment that helps to develop wholesome and dynamic personalities of students who excel in all fields of educational activities. This year a brilliant 9th class student of the school, Murk Mujeeb Dero created a record by winning the International Letter Writing Competition organized by Pakistan Post and got a cash award of Rs. 20,000/-. She got first position amongst 1756 students from Pakistan while her letter has been sent to Berne, Switzerland to represent Pakistan in a competition being organized by Universal Postal Union.

The student in her letter on the topic “Imagine you are a letter travelling through time what message do you wish to convey to your readers” imaginatively articulated innovative and dynamic views showcasing her intellectual brilliance through the force of powerful writing. Her letter is a classical piece of writing that is reflective of excellence and enlightened vision. Principal, Ms Saulat Qasim praised the extra ordinary talent of the student and highlighted the high academic standards maintained at the school reiterating that a student of the school won this coveted competition last year as well.

Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali commended Murk Mujeeb Dero on her commendable feat and congratulated her parents for the outstanding performance of the student who brought laurels to her institution as well as to DHA. He said that he wanted all DHA Schools/Colleges to achieve reputation of trades mark institutions as flag bearers of high quality education par excellence.
