Defence Authority Zamzama Club Celebrated Pakistan Day with Students

The students of Karachi Vocational Training Center and Defence Authority Model High School Beach View were invited by Defence Authority Zamzama Club to celebrate Pakistan Day. KVTC is an institute for intellectually challenged children and has more than 140 students on its roll. The institute started in 1991. It trains its students with independent living skills such as carpentry, IT skills, block printing, tailoring etc.

The programme started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and patriotic speeches by the students of both institutions. Almost 200 students participated with great fervor and enthusiasm in different items such as national songs, dance performances and sports events like cricket, futsal and racing. It was a day full of fun and festivity, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the staff and students of both institutions.

Director Addl (Schools and Colleges) Col. Zahid Hussain (R) was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Ms. Saima Afzal, Principal DA Model High School Beach View gave a welcome speech and also souvenirs to the Chief Guest, Principal KVTC Ms. Sana Amir and Manager Administration Ms. Farheen Amir. Secretary DA Zamzama Club Lt Col. Motasim Hussain Khan (R) also graced the occasion and participated actively in the cricket tournament with the students.
