The entire city will comprise of 16 sectors, while work on the development of five residential sectors under the Short Term Plan is likely to commence by Aug/Sep 2013. The development works of DHA City Karachi (DCK) will be accomplished in four phases:

  • Immediate Action Plan (2012)
  • Short Term Development Plan (2012-2015)
  • Mid Term Development Plan (2015-2020)
  • Long Term Development Plan (2020-2030)

For projects of Short Term Development Plan (2012-2015), pre-qualification of contractors has been initiated. Under the Short Term Development Plan, projects worth Rs. 15.7 Billions are being build.

Development of the project is being closely monitored/supervised on ground by DCK engineers and consultants team at each stage of development to ensure speedy development of the scheme on professional lines. Development of a theme park and outlet mall are being planned simultaneously to make DCK site a weekend picnic spot and attractive place for visitors.

The projects to be executed under Short Term Development Plan (2012-2015) falls under following categories:

1. Primary Infrastructure Works:

  • Main Boulevards and Avenues
  • Bulk Water Supply with Tube Wells
  • Surface Reservoirs, Overhead Tanks and Pumping Stations
  • Trunk Sewers with STPs
  • Storm Water Drains along Main Roads
  • Electricity and Gas, and various facilities for infrastructure

2. Major Roads:

6x packages of major roads with a total length of 28 km have also been included in the Short Term Development Plan. This will ensure access to almost whole DHA City Karachi area.

3. Sector Development Works:

It includes internal roads, water supply, sewerage, storm water drainage, landscaping, electricity, ICT, gas:

  • Sector 3 (Complete): A, B
  • Sector 5 (Complete): A, B, C, D
  • Sector 7 (Complete): A, B, C, D
  • Sector 2 (Partial): D
  • Sector 6 (Partial): A, B, C
  • Sector 9 (Partial): B
  • Downtown District (Partial)

4. Constructions of Houses / Apartments:

In accordance with a standard theme of construction to introduce homogeneity to the development following accommodations is being planned:

  • 100 Villas (200 Square Yards Plots) in Sector 3
  • 100 Low-Cost Flats in Sector 6

5. Various other Facilities:

  • KG School (Sector 3)
  • Primary School (Sector 3)
  • Secondary School (Sector 3)
  • College (Sector 3)
  • Mosque (Sector 3)
  • Healthcare Clinic (Sector 3)
  • Parks and Playgrounds (Sector 3)

    it is requested to wait for Jan 2014, surely price will increase and will take a jump of at least 35 %. This is again a best time for purchasing as you will get a return till jan 2014 just in two months

      sorry brother,,, this is not going to happen,,, DHA city will go down after december…

      Buy commercial at peninsula karachi, the only one to be picked up in coming week as this is still at attractive price… 12 files of 200sq yard and 117 files of 100sqyard are purchased from monday till today in same commercial after correction.

      Dha city karachi needs long time to settle , 1 out of 5000 is willing to live there when they announce consstruction in 2017 (short-term)…
