DHA City Karachi (DCK) Updated Development Schedule Map – December 2014

DHA City Karachi (DCK) has been envisioned as ‘The First Sustainable City of Pakistan’, which will serve as a model for the future independent cities in the country and abroad. The aim has been to plan and build a city, which provides its citizens a safe, comfortable, efficient and beautiful lifestyle.

On 2nd December 2014, a meeting chaired by Administrator DHA, Brig Zubair Ahmed was held with top real estates agents of DHA City Karachi to discuss the upcoming project developments. During the meeting, Brig Zubair Ahmed also handed over the Official DHA City Karachi Updated Development Schedule Map.

As per the new development plan, the Short Term Plan will be completed by 2018, End Term Plan will be completed by 2020/21 and Balance Utilities by 2030.

    Earlier it was promised by DHA that DHA City Sector 5 will be liveable by 2016. From the new plan, it seems they pushed it to 2018. If DHA does not keep it commitments it will soon loose its credibility.
    It is very important for any business or DHA to stick to its commitment. Otherwise, people would no longer trust them. I do not trust any Pakistani department except arm forces. Now, it seems they are also losing their credibility.

    world’s one and only army that is also a real estate agent. 🙂 if DHA phase 8 is any indicator, DHA could not provide water in the middle of Karachi, do you believe they will provide electricity and water in the middle of nowhere? I have no faith in DHA management. I do love and support our military.

    I totally agree with Mr. Jawed Khan Sahib that DHA plan apparently has deviated from its official initial plan on which most of the Public Sector got the property i.e. Red, Yellow and Green with sectors and year of completion different of what it is now seem. If DHA does not keep it commitments it will loose trust and we will loose our hard earned money.

    So we request DHA policy makers to keep its official commitments and quickly complete the project on its earlier maps.

    Almost negative comments in the above thread, that depicts obvious loose of DCK’s credibility and business. That’s why people tend to come out from DCK and invest in Bahria Town Karachi and I am evident of series of cases. The long duration development (12 years) and frequent changing plans speak the ability of the society. I do agree with all my above like minded friends’ comments and strongly suggest to DCK management to please cross your fingers and start thinking on how to regain investor’s confidence.

    If you read the map carefully Sector 3,5 and 7 are still completed by 2016 as promised. DCK has picked up speed and as those sectors completing in 2020 and now completing in 2018.

    I think there will be no big difference of prices on the basis of red, yellow and green. Only think that will differentiate, is nearest to the constructed area i.e short term developed area.

    oh bhai see the update picture of development provided by DHA above. Usmay likha hai 3 liviable by 2016 and 5 ,7 development work completed by 2016. Iska matlab hai 3 5 7 sector apnay waqt pay hand over karain gay , delayed nahi hai.

    Mazeed updates mai 2018 ka plan diya hai jis mai 2,6,8,9,12,13,14 sectors kay sub sectors ko red mai kardiya hai jo 2018 mai tak develop karain gay.

    Kindly what is current price for selling and I am looking 500sq yard land in sector 7, 5 and 10 what will the total cost woth own payment

    Hi DHA Admin,

    I have 200 Sq.yard plot in 9-C at my wife name, recently she get phone calls from Estate Agents and they claim they are DHA authorized dealers and that value of this plot is 7 lac only.
    they name themself Kashif from DHAFR associates, my question is how they get our number? and plot number?
    It looks to me its unsafe investment where our numbers and records are displayed to every one 🙁
    please investigate this matter asap

      They definitely got the information from DHA themselves. How someone else can provide that? How come they know that a specific tel/cell number owns a plot in DHA City?

      I have 2 mobile numbers and receives calls/sms from real estate agents related to DHA City on the number which is registered with DHA.


    This is very unfortunate that DHAC management right from day one has been continuously changing their development plans as per the wish and will of high officials mainly to safeguard their interests without giving any value to the general public/investor. we still feel that DHAC is a CREDIBLE organisation unlike other corrupt organisations in our country, But this time they have to prove it by reverting to their original plans, else every one will have the Right to raise their finger on their CREDIBILITY……….
