DHA Karachi Phase VIII (Phase 8) Map – Zone E
Defence Housing Authority is a residential enterprise which was established for the welfare of the serving and retired Armed Forces Officers of Pakistan and civilian officers paid out of the budget of Defence establishment. DHA, planned by a group of naval officers in Karachi, started its journey by the name of Pakistan Defence Officers Cooperative Housing Society Ltd in March 1953. The Housing Society which made a humble beginning with allotment of mere 76.2 acres of land (which constitute current Phase-I of DHA) has come a long way since. Today, DHA comprises of eight phases spread over an area of 8,796 acres of land.

I think we all should write letters to DHA for alloing permission of building home there in zone E. All development works almost done so why is waiting for?
When zone E peninsula commercial will be allowed for construction? Anyone know?
Peninsula is located in Zone E. Still development work is under process. According to me it would take at-least one year.

It has become aa mystery almost a top secret to know the estimated timeframe of allowing construction in zone C and D and E of phase 8 .
Phase 9 was launched at a much later timeframe but all efforts are being focused at phase 9.
Some one please apprise the clients about the real scenario.
The present management of DHA Karachi is incompetent and unable to complete zone C,D and E of phase VIII since last 40 years. I dont forsee possession of plot in above referred zones in next 10 years. I suggest to buy plot in Baharia Town Karachi where plot possession has started

DHA is known for its reliability.
More reliable than bahria.
However such a prolonged delay in allowing construction permission points to some super trooper planning to discourage clients to withdraw from plots in phase 8.
Plots near seaside are most in demand and in Mumbai the prices are 3 times.
500 yds plot near sea in Mumbai is 20 crore minimum.
Phase 9 cannot ever surpass phase 8 due to location and seaside.

They will not allow permission because they in the hands of construction mafia. Only way is to take a legal action against DHA. They have charged us twice development fees and still not allowed construction. We should take the case to courts and fight it out.
