A group of students from DHA Suffa University started a month long internship at AIMST University, Penang, Malaysia on August 8, 2013. This Internship initiative is part of the student mobility programs that DHA Suffa University aims to pursue with renowned foreign universities.
As a result of the collaborative Memorandum of Understanding signed between DHA Suffa University and AIMST University, in May 2013 , a group of students consisting of Osama Sualeheen & Asad Murtaza of 2nd Semester BE (Electrical) and Zubair Gohar & Tooba Tahir of 2nd Semester BBA.
Tooba Tahir, who is pursuing a Business Degree from DSU, is interning in the HR Department of AIMST University, whereas Zubair Gohar is assigned as an internee with the International Marketing Office. Osama Sualeheen and Asad Murtaza have been involved in a project of Robotics with a senior faculty member of the Electrical Engineering Department at AIMST University.
The students have been accompanied by Assistant Professor Shoib Ahmed of Mechanical Engineering Department. This internship will equip these students with practical skills and international exposure that will be useful for them in their future lives and careers. Such collaborative student and faculty exchange programs between the two universities are a regular feature of academic life in DSU.
