DHACSS College for Women Staged the play ‘The Ghost and Mrs Muir’

The students showcased their amazing talent and creativity and enacted the play in a magnificent manner. The play was written, directed and produced by Ms. Tayyaba Khalil and Ms Rizwana Nasim under the guidance of the Principal Dr Farhat Agha.

The story unfolds a wonderful romantic fantasy. It is an enchanting tale of a woman who after the death of her husband finds herself beguiled by the ghost of an extremely charming Sea Captain who has a wicked sense of humour.

The story of the play was in-fact a kaleidoscope of emotions from tragic to humourous, from love to hatred, from loyalty to betrayal. There was not a single dull moment till it’s very end. The play was cropped, moulded and reinvented to fulfill the specific requirements with caution not to spoil the basic flavor of this Romantic Fantasy.

The chief guest Brig Ibrar Hussain Bhatti, Administrator DHA appreciated the brilliant performance of students who participated in the play. He said that it was reassuring that DHACSS College for Women as a vanguard institution was not only maintaining highest academic excellence but also providing a stimulating intellectual environment for development of confident and talented students, who can face the challenges of life successfully.
