A Chinese Delegation comprising of members belonging to four giant Chinese Companies engaged in engineering, development, consultation and feasibility study works of mega development projects visited DHA Head Office and attended a meeting chaired by Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali.
The delegation comprised of engineers, developers, consultants and project specialists from Chinese leading firms namely CIECC led by Mr Wang Ping, DG International Business Department, Golden State Company led by Mr Willy Johansen, Vice President Golden State Holding Group, China State Construction Engineering Corporation led by Mr Shan Zhigang, General Manager Oversees Business Departments and Compiant Ltd led by Mr Sun Jie, General Manager South East Asia Project Department.
The Chinese Companies are the leading groups in construction and development industry who are involved in development, planning and construction works and have completed a number of mega projects at national/international level including projects in Pakistan pertaining to construction of roads, bridges, buildings, water supply networks, solid waste management and environmental related ventures.
The delegation informed the meeting about the details of the projects executed by them and also shared the state-of-the-art technology and modern engineering practices employed by them as per the contemporary development trends. The delegation showed keen interest in DHA City Karachi and DHA Phase-VIII mega projects. It was a very informative, useful and beneficial exchange of views between Chinese Delegation and DHA officials.
Administrator welcomed the positive interaction between DHA and Chinese engineering giants. He said that DHA can benefit from the experience, expertise and technologically savvy approach of Chinese companies. He hoped that the understanding, mutual sharing and collaboration between the two sides would grow in future. At the end of the meeting, Administrator presented souvenirs to Chinese Delegation and wished them all the best in their endevours. Brig Ahmed Alvi, Project Director NLC Karachi det also attended the meeting.
