Ground Breaking of Infrastructure Development Works in Sector “E” of Phase VIII – DHA Karachi


Ground breaking of infrastructure development work in Sector “E” of Phase-VIII DHA was performed by Commander 5 Corps Lt. Gen Sajjad Ghani, in a simple ceremony held at the project site. Administrator DHA Brig Muhammad Abdullah received the Corps Commander and explained the salient features of the project.

It may be recalled that Ph-VIII constitutes almost 45% of DHA Karachi. Ph-VIII is divided into six sectors. Sector A&B have already been developed and opened for construction. Fast track infrastructure development works is currently going on in other 3 sectors which will be completed by this year. The infrastructure development of the only left over Sector “E” that commenced today includes construction of main roads, streets development, water supply, storm water drainage and sewerage lines.

The work is being under taken by NLC. Corps Commander directed DHA, NLC and the consultant to ensure quality and speed in the work on sound engineering practices. He also instructed that simultaneous work on various projects should be under taken so that development of Phase-VIII is completed at the earliest.

    Hey, This is good news for all the investors/homemakers.

    People said in past that DHA is going to announce permission to build houses @ C-zone and Saahil phase-viii.

    But DHA authorities are looking forward to make infrastructure of E-Zone of phase-8 , thus making e-zone more attractive for investors.

    I suggest people to invest in residential or more in commercial of e-zone.

    its still in buying rates for short term investment compared to Saahil commercial which is at peak where 100 sq:yards down category plot worth is 1.85 (even no body selling at the said rate) and a good one worth is 4 to 5.5 crores,
    whereas commercial @ e-zone is work is about to start and it make that commercial more attractive compared to any commercial at dha phae-viii. plot ranges from 145 down category near amnty and good plot around 1.75 to 2.20

    Compare both 🙂

    Excellent news..Peninsula commercial rates going to sky rocket now! Its probably going to be the zamzama of phase 8!

    Does that mean that the construction in Zone-E will be allowed by the end of year 2014?
