Join The Second Floor (T2F) for two short film screenings and an informal conversation about nostalgia, memory, gender, vulnerability, and public spaces.
Beach Kahani and Karachi Sessions, two short films by Hira Nabi, are set in contemporary Karachi and were filmed at the end of 2012. The visual journeys speak to movement around the city, safety, gender, and contested ownership of public spaces. The screenings will be followed by a discussion on the films’ themes and life in Karachi.
