Kids Fashion Trends 2017 – A Review by Sommaya Shan Warsi


Now a days kids fashion industry is emerging in Pakistan and kids clothing has been designing according to the latest trends. Most of the mothers are really concerned about their girl’s dressing. Here we discuss some latest fashion trends for kids that hopefully help the mothers to update their kids’ wardrobe.

1) Peplum top

Peplum tops are the lastest trend that going viral, You can wear it casually or formally. It always looks chic and classy. It has flairs from waist line and short in length, unlike umbrella frocks. The body attached to it, can be simple rounded neck or angarkha style. This style has been showcasing on ramp frequently and it’s a HIT. It can be paired up with tulip pants, bell bottoms, straight pants etc.

2) Gharara Pants

Gharara is one of the oldest fashion attire; if you goes through your gandma’s old picture she might be wearing one. Now our designers have modified this old fashion baggy styled gharara into a modern form that is ‘gharara pant’. It is pant styled from top till thighs and flared below the knees. It looks so stylish especially on girls. It can be paired up with straight shirt or peplum top.

3) Flared

According to me flared is all over the fashion shows this year, it can be added to your sleeves, bottoms, tops etc. Basically it gives volume to your overall look. Mostly kids in Pakistan are skinny and straight lawn fabric will make them look leaner; flared style will make them look more stylish n add volume to their complete outfit.

4) Angarkha

Anagarkha is also one of the oldest style, it has also modified now with shortened length. It can be wear casually but in formal it looks more classy and elegant. Different style of beautiful tassels can be added in it. Mostly it can paired up with baggy shalwars or gharara pants.
