Karachi Vocational Training Center is a rehabilitation center developed in 1991 for the people who are mentally challenged. They are trying to make the lives of such people better by their hard work and dedication.
KVTC provides services to all including children, teens, adults and the old people. The center’s aim is to prove that the people who are mentally challenged can still perform well like they can learn trade, can get Admissions, can interact with other people, can live without being dependent on others and can get the jobs. They deal with all kind of psychological problems like people who are slow learners as in having Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and ADHD.
They also treats the mentally retarded people (IQ of 70 or less than 70). Some of their patients have numerous disabilities like mental and physical both. There are 1200 patients in KVTC who are intellectually challenged in the province of Gilgilt Baltistan and over 2000 patients are being treated by the professional doctors and are checked regularly. The center is concerned for its patients and educates them in the best possible way. The people come from all over the areas in Karachi and are trained and educated regardless of whether they can afford the treatments or not.
