“Melting Into Us” Art Exhibition at Unicorn Gallery - Clifton Karachi

Unicorn Gallery is pleased to present on November 1st, 2013 a two-artist exhibition: Melting into Us, featuring new works by National College of Arts graduates Rajab Ali Sayed and Dua Abbas.

Opening time: 7 pm to 9 pm. Exhibition will remain open for public till 9th November 2013. Exhibition will remain open on Sunday.

  • Rajab Ali Sayed graduated from The National College of Arts, Lahore in 2013 with Distinction in Fine Art, presenting an interdisciplinary thesis project in painting, video installation, and photography titled “Pretty Young Things.” He has also studied intensive printmaking and photography at NCA and Augustana College (USA). Rajab has exhibited in successful shows in major cities of Pakistan, and all his works featured in Melting into Us have been sold 6 months prior to the show.
  • Dua Abbas majored in Painting from The National College of Arts, Lahore and graduated with Distinction in 2009. Dua’s work is influenced by two decades of reading fiction and poetry and an inclination towards narrative storytelling. Dua has participated in several exhibitions in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Dubai and Delhi and is an active art reviewer for The Friday Times and ArtNow. Dua is a recipient of the Shakir Ali Award (NCA 2009), Sir Percy Brown Prize, and Principal’s Honours Award.
