Real Estate Business & Investment Club (REBIC) Visits Karachi Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)

Real Estate Business & Investment Club (REBIC) CEC & Honorary Members.

Real Estate Business & Investment Club (REBIC) CEC & Honorary members visited the Karachi Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Saturday 13th October, 2012.

The purpose of the visit is to congratulate the newly elected Office Barriers and Managing Committee Members of KCCI. This year, Mr. Zahid Iqbal, the President of REBIC has also been elected as the Managing Committee Member of KCCI. The meeting started with Mr. Muhammad Shafi Jakvani giving introduction about REBIC and its aims and objective, which are as follows:

  • Image building of the Real Estate Industry.
  • To bring professionalism in the Industry.
  • To Create Business Opportunities for its members.

With these aims and objective, Mr. Jakvani pointed out that there is a need to consider and give recognition to the Real Estate Industry. Through the platform of KCCI, it will be easy to reach these objectives, either by registering with the Federal Government or at-least with Provincial Government like all the other industries of Pakistan. Every Realtor or Real Estate Co. required to take license to offer services in Real Estate Sector.

To achieve these objectives, Mr. Jakvani requested the Office Barrier of KCCI to form separate Committee for Real Estate Sector. If not possible, at least committee for the Services Business Sector. Mr. Jakvani further mentioned that REBIC will offer all it’s members to become a KCCI member to strengthen the Real Estate Sector.

Mr. Zahid Iqbal also put some points on this matter. Mr. Zahid also mentioned that he is associated with the Real Estate Research Sector and gave a copy of his research work in the shape of book on Karachi primary data.

After detail description of Mr. Zahid and Mr. Jakvani, Mr. Muhammad Haroon Agar, President-KCCI gave a brief introduction about KCCI and BMG group. He appreciated the efforts of REBIC members for image building of Real Estate Industry and promised his support in this regard. Following points has been decided.

  • REBIC will increases the number of KCCI membership of their members.
  • REBIC offers honorary membership to KCCI Office Barriers i.e. President / Senior Vice President / Vice President to strengthen the relationship between both the bodies.
  • REBIC will serve all KCCI members with extra efforts and with full code of ethics.
  • REBIC also invited the KCCI Managing Committee to dinner at Karachi Golf Club. Date will decided later.
  • KCCI will try to create new sub-committee for Real Estate Sector and give representation to REBIC members.
  • KCCI will participate in all the events of REBIC.
  • KCCI will invite REBIC members to their coming events to strengthen the relationship.
  • KCCI and REBIC will approach to Govt. level together for the betterment of Real Estate Industry.
