Robotics Workshop at AFK

Robotics for kids is a hands-on and fun way for kids to learn STEM concepts by letting them make their own robots. Robotics is a branch of technology that deals with the making, programming, and designing of robots.

Steamobotics offers STEAM module sessions to inculcate critical thinking via block-based coding language and integrating virtual learning techniques which gives children control over the robots movements, sounds and sensors. The learning modules include coding, scripting, game designing and robot programming/construction.

The program provides a blended learning environment, with robotics kits connecting science, math and social studies concepts to the real world. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!
