Students of NED University of Engineering and Technology Visits DHA City Karachi (DCK)

A group of final year students from Department of Architecture and Planning of NED University of Engineering and Technology visited DHA City Karachi (DCK), an upcoming residential project on Super Highway which is speedily being built as a sustainable city with unique planning and architectural features. The delegation was briefed by Addl Director (Technical) DCK about the vision, planning and development strategy of DHA City. The students were highly impressed by all facets of modern living incorporated in the sustainable, green and smart project of DHA City. They termed DCK project as an example of engineering and architectural excellence.

Later the students went around various project sites in DCK where development work was going on in full swing. They visited the newly opened Sector-3 of DCK, NKC Roundabout and Farm Houses project in Sector-1. The students asked various engineering, technical and architectural related questions about DCK project. They termed their visit as a highly educative and learning experience that gave them professional insight in modern architectural planning and execution of contemporary concepts of engineering in ongoing development works.

NED delegation thanked DCK management for their hospitality and for providing them a comprehensive learning of the contemporary concepts of mega development projects.
