Tapupdan: A Painting Exhibition by Akram Varraich at T2F


Join The Second Floor on Tuesday, January 7 for ‘Tapupdan’ a painting exhibition by Akram Varraich at Faraar Gallery, T2F.

Akram Varraich was born in 1952 in a village Samma, Gujrat who graduated from University of Punjab with a Masters degree in Philosophy. Varraich discovered his love for Art in 1992 and is a self taught artist who paints in water colour, acrylic, charcoal and ink. He is primarily a landscape artist but also paints still life, portraits and abstracts since 1998. He has exhibited his work in Warziabad (his native town), Lahore and Karachi at private residences.

The exhibition titled “Tapupdan” (also known as Passu Cones – the famous mountain peaks of Hunza) is a landscape series inspired by his recent visit to Hunza in 2019.
