The DHAToday Show [Episode 01] – Real Estate Business & Investment Club (REBIC)

Real Estate Business & Investment Club (REBIC) was formed in 2008. REBIC is the only club of it’s own kind in Pakistan. The three main objective of this club are:

  • Image Building of Real Estate Industry.
  • Bring Professionalism in Real Estate Industry of Pakistan.
  • Business Promotion for the Members of Club.

REBIC has been formed by Mr. Zahid Iqbal (CEO – PakRealEstate) in 2008. In the same year Mr. Muhammad Shafi Jakvani (CEO – CITI Associates) joined the club and by the conducting 10 meetings selected 40 new members for the club.

Most of the members of REBIC are related to Real Estate Industry for last many years and deal with in the limit of Defence and Clifton. These 40 members has been selected out of almost 1000 Real Estate Organizations located in the limit of Defence and Clifton.

The criteria for the selection of the members was the seniority and the specialization of different fields and the interest of individuals who really want to do something for the betterment of the Real Estate Industry.

Club activities includes mainly monthly meetings (including seminars, presentations on different topics), Projects visits in different cities (Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad) for the business opportunity for members and attending different business meetings (for the Image building) and family get-together for the entertainment of families of members. Besides Real Estate, other Professionals are also the member of this club like finance, educationist, bankers and builders.

Recently in 2012 for the betterment of club activities, Central Executive Committee (CEC) has been formed. Currently, there are seven CEC members:

  • Mr. Muhammad Shafi Jakvani (General Secretary)
  • Mr. Atiq Qureshi (Joint Secretary)
  • Mr. Khursheed Alam (Finance Secretary)
  • Mr. Syed Aftab Hussain (Member CEC)
  • Mr. Moeen Qureshi (Member CEC)
