Universal Children’s Day was celebrated by students of Defence Authority Montessori with great fanfare. Various activities were held to highlight the importance of the day including holding of fancy dress parade, skits, choirs and souvenir preparation activity etc. This year Universal Children’s Day was celebrated in an innovative and joyous manner. A special feature of the day was a Science Exhibition held at DHA Montessori displaying small projects designed with ingenuity by students of Prep classes belonging to different DHA educational institutions.
The aim of the exhibition was sharing of knowledge, interaction amongst teachers and students and providing conducive learning environment to students to develop their talent. The projects made by the students included Solar System, Colourful Science, Rain Forest, Traffic Lights, Volcano, Germination of Seed, The Busy Bee and Food Chain etc.
Brig (R) Sardar Muhammad, Director Education DHA inaugurated the function. The young students buzzing with confidence enthusiastically explained their projects to the visitors and answered the queries.
A large number of people including Principals and DHA Officials attended the exhibition. Director Education DHA appreciated the efforts of these young students and distributed goody bags and certificates amongst the participants. He said the young student in their formative years must be trained and educated with utmost care and attention as they constitute our hope for the future.
